Hey fellas
I know I haven't been active for a while, but I'm still around from time to time. DeviantArt is still a great source of inspiration, following my dA friends, finding cool stock and checking out what's hot but I feel it's not really worth it to invest in a platform that is as saturated as dA is, especially if you're trying to grow, get feedback or gain some visibility.
I guess I will upload to dA once in a while but if you'd like to follow my regular sketches, paintings and scribbles, just head over to my all new Facebook page: [link]
Also, I'm a 2D/3D artist in training now, so I hope to be able to kick off my career as a game artist in the next 2 years or so I'm learning a lot every day, so these are exciting times for me!
I hope everyone is well and creative as usual

Weekly art challenge group... come and join us :)
Hello dear friends!
With the support of three other deviants, I have decided to found an own group for weekly art challenges/ jams. Unlike my favourite group of all time #SpeedpaintStudies (https://www.deviantart.com/speedpaintstudies), my group :iconart-jamz: will not feature studies and references, but rather weekly topics to challenge your imagination with! You can submit anything from a speed paint to a polished master piece... there are no time constraints, only our weekly topic!
If that sounds like fun to you, please come and join us at Art-Jamz (https://www.deviantart.com/art-jamz) :)

I've upgraded!!!
...to Gimp 2.8 LOL ... Was using 2.6 before, seems like I missed quite a bit :B
The emotional roller coaster I went through exclusively for you in fast motion:
First panic, cause I forgot to save all my brushes and textures, then confusion about the new features and UI, followed by confidence when I found the option to enable pressure detection again and finally satisfaction when I realised that the new brush settings seem to be wicked.
We'll see!
